Technologies

Technology is something I live and breathe, both professionally and at home. Day to day I work in VMware ESXi, PowerShell, Cisco routing and switching, and Cisco Unified Communications. I have deep experience with Linux across multiple distributions including RHEL/CentOS, Debian, and SUSE, and I run Docker extensively both in production and in my home environment. I am a contributor to the LinuxServer.io project. I work with Ribbon SBCs, F5 load balancers, Checkpoint firewalls, and Microsoft Active Directory environments including Linux machine integration. For database work I use MySQL and Informix regularly, and I have been running an Asterisk PBX on custom Linux infrastructure since 2002.

I approach automation as a core discipline rather than an afterthought. A day rarely passes without writing something in PowerShell or Bash. I am actively expanding my Kubernetes expertise alongside an existing Docker foundation, and I am currently pursuing the CCIE Collaboration and the Juniper JNCIP-ENT via the CCNP-to-JNCIP bridge program. For a full breakdown of certifications and credentials, see the Experience page.
